First off, I would like to thank you for joining me.
I intend to provide WordPress (WP, for those who are fond of shortcuts) guides which I hope you will find useful in setting up and maintaining your WordPress site.
In developing the tutorial, I will be drawing mostly from my experience and observations in managing my company’s websites which are mostly WordPress based.
I will also incorporate some of the test results I obtained from running an experimental site at WordPress.com some months ago. My experiments involved testing WordPress themes and plugins built into a WordPress.com-hosted blog. I think I posted more than 30 blog entries in my WordPress.com-hosted blog, Working and WordPress-ing where I detailed the results of my test runs.
The tutorial (including my commentaries) will be grouped into two, basic and advanced. This way, the “lessons” will be focused on specific knowledge level of the user. Some “lessons” will be short, and some will be long ~ the length dependent on the subject.
I think that’s all I wanted to say at this point.
